Quote
Joining a House Group was a really great way to get to know people in church and I praise God for the opportunity to be part of a group who pray for each other and look after each other.
Quote

A key part of our 2020 Vision is that everyone at Cornerstone will be part of a small group, which is essential in a large church. For most people, this will mean actively belonging to one of our House Groups.

Purposes

Though each one of our House Groups has its own unique flavour, all of the groups have the same 3 purposes, which are:

Meetings

Most of our House Groups meet on a Wednesday or Thursday evening, and will spend time together enjoying fellowship, prayer, Bible study and often food and drink! House Groups join together once per month for a central Prayer & Praise gathering.

Locations

There are currently over 20 House Groups meeting at various locations around the city, reflective of where people who are part of Cornerstone live.

Leaders

Each House Group is led by 2 or more experienced leaders, and some groups also benefit from having trainee leaders. House Group Leaders are responsible for overseeing the life of their House Group and ensuring that the group is led in a way that glorifies God and meets the purposes of Cornerstone's House Groups. We are tremendously blessed to have so many loving and servant-hearted House Group Leaders who play such a significant part in the life of the church.

Cluster Groups

Some House Groups also meet termly with two or three other House Groups, as a Cluster Group. These groups help fellowship develop across small groups.
