Over the years, Cornerstone has been privileged to have many students from a wide variety of different nations attend during their studies and then sometimes to stay on and live in Nottingham. If that is you, or if you are interested in knowing more about the work with international students, then read on!

Want to know more about Christianity?

Many international students come to the UK with an interest in finding out more about Christianity while they are in the country. At Cornerstone, we are keen to encourage students in this position and to help them study the Bible for the first time either in small groups or through the courses that happen. If you would like to join one of these groups, then please do contact us.

Already a Christian?

We are also encouraged to have many international students who are already Christians studying with us here in Nottingham. We are keen that Christian students get involved in the life of the church and also in reaching out to others on their courses and in their halls. If you are looking to join a Bible study group, you may want to ask us about the ‘International Discipleship Group’.

Want to meet British people and other international students?

While you are in the UK, it is a great time to get to know people from many different nations, and find out more about British traditions. Cornerstone joins with a number of other churches in Nottingham to run Globe Cafés, which happen in two different locations on Monday evenings. We’d love to see you there! We also provide international students with an opportunity to sign up to enjoy hospitality with a local family.
